Chilled water coils are tube fin heat exchangers consisting of 2 to 12 rows of imported round seamless tubes. Usually that passes through sheets of formed fins (corrugated or plate type), bonded through tube expansion (1500-1800 psi). The expansion of the tubes provides a permanent metal-to-metal bond with fins for efficient heat transfer. Fin collars are fully-drawn to provide accurate control of fin spacing and maximum contact with tubes. Fins are available 6 to 14 per inches with seamless die formed collars.
